The Unison Benevolent Fund is a charitable organization that provides counselling, emergency relief, and benefit programs for those in the Canadian music community who face personal or professional challenges due to hardship, illness or economic difficulties. To date, Unison has raised over $800,000. While many services through Unison are available to the music community, the target to activate the financial support program is $1 million. They are so close, and the need is increasing every day.
Please join members of the music industry on December 3 at the Jazz Bistro (an early show!) to move Unison closer to their $1 million dollar goal. Pay what you can at the door (suggested donation $20 minimum) and enjoy a superb evening of music, featuring Unison ambassador (and platinum selling artist from Montreal) Florence K. and other special guests including Ron Sexsmith, Don Francks, Tony Quarrington, Rob and Bob Scott and Alex Pangman!
