Join Michael Occhipinti, Yvette Tollar, Louis Simao, Rich Brown, Maryem Tollar, Pat Murray, Dan Fortin, Tania Gill, Michelle Willis and plenty of surprise guests at Lula Lounge next Thursday. Much of the music and arts community is backing Joe Pantalone for Mayor.
If you are pro-Joe or haven’t decided who you want to vote for…come meet the man and hear some great music! The event is hosted by JAZZ.FM91 radio host Jaymz Bee and Now Magazine columnist Andrew Cash. Bee recently declared on twitter: "We live in a friendly city and need a friendly Mayor! The fact that Joe Pantalone has been deputy Mayor (he’s experienced) and hasn’t berated minorities (he’s no small-minded bully) or cost the province millions (he’s responsible) should make voting for him the only logical choice".
Perhaps LaRiviere is best described by John Karastamatis of The National Post when he said that Serafin posses "a singular sound between man and woman, human and angel". You do not want to miss this celebration! THURSDAY OCTOBER 21

Would you like to be in Cuba December 14-20? The JAZZ.FM91 Jazz Safari
For over five years high-end donors to JAZZ.FM91, a not-for-profit, registered charity and Canada’s premier 24 hour all-jazz radio station, have enjoyed exploring Toronto with 91.1 producer and on-air host, Jaymz Bee. The official campaign begins in November but at the moment the station is doing a "pre-campaign" and encourages donors to get in early with their pledge of support.
For every $40,000 raised pre-campaign, one day of the campaign will be taken off. This simply means, more music and less talk in November!
On top of the classic jazz safari which hits five jazz venues in one night, Bee also offers a vocal showcase night in February at Lula Lounge (over 24 singers in a three hour show) and even has an excursion to The Havana Jazz Festival in Cuba in mid-December for generous donors. For all the information or to make a donation please visit jazz.fm or call 1.800.811.2400 weekday mornings.
