Robert Scott will perform as a soloist on a grand piano at Lula Lounge to celebrate the release of his highly anticipated CD, "Pianoptic". He will be joined in the second set by his trio, featuring Chris Gartner on bass and Great Bob Scott on drums.
Robert is just back from Vancouver where he inked a deal for a song he composed to be used on Michael Buble's next album. Come witness this piano genius before he catapults to stardom!

 CELEBRATION CONCERT IN MEMORY OF DOUG RILEY

On Sunday, November 18th an all-star cast of musicians and performers will come together to celebrate one of the Canadian music scene's most influential members, Doug Riley.
A Celebration Concert in Memory of Doug Riley, hosted by JAZZ.FM91's own Larry Green, will be held at the University of Toronto's Convocation Hall and will feature Michael Burgess, David Clayton Thomas, Motherlode, Dr. Music, Famous People Players, Planet Earth, and many celebrated jazz artists - - Phil Dwyer, Mike Murley, Ted Quinlan, Guido Basso and Don Thompson.
Proceeds from the concert and from the sale of a special tribute CD will go toward the creation of The Doug Riley Scholarship Fund at the University of Toronto's Faculty of Music.
