Adam Makowicz (pronounced Ma-KOE-vitch) has shared the stage with some of the world's greatest musicians including Benny Goodman, Herbie Hancock, Earl Hines and Sara Vaughan. He has recorded 37 solo piano albums and has performed and recorded with The National Symphony of Washington, the Moscow Symphony Orchestra and the London Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
Adam moved from New York to Toronto recently and is releasing his first Canadian recording entitled "Indigo Bliss" which will be available at retail stores across the country, on-line through iTUNES and off the stage at his Sept. 7th concert. After the show, Makowicz leaves the country for a European Tour, not returning until December.
Adam will take to the stage at 9:30. Kicking off the show at 8:30 are two other phenomenal solo pianists…non-other than Steve Koven and Norman Amadio.

Robert Scott has been shock'n'awe-ing the martini lovers at Pantages Hotel for months now and the response has been so phenomenal they have invited him to play every Friday night. Robert plays original music, jazz versions of Pink Floyd, David Bowie, Beatles, Rolling Stones and medley's such as the triple treat: "Bohemian Rhapsody In Blue Rondo Ala Turk." Robert will be joined by percussionist Great Bob Scott (no relation) every Friday in September, starting the 14th.
You can enjoy free jazz every Friday and Saturday at Pantages Hotel Lobby Bar from 8-12pm.
