Jaymz Bee is using his birthday to raise money for Unison Benevolent Fund once again... this is the fourth year in a row all profit from his party at Old Mill Toronto will go to this worthy cause.

The main dining room features jazz during dinner (doors at 6:30) and is followed with two sets by Canada's sweetheart of swing, Alex Pangman. Alex Pangman and her Alley Cats welcome guest vocalist Don Francks on a few tunes and no doubt the dance floor will be packed by her lindy-hopping fans! In The Chapel (other end of The Old Mill) the live music starts at 7:00pm with Kazoo Travesty and at 8 will become an open mic and jazz jam until 11:00pm, hosted by Lisa Particelli and Mark Kieswetter. Entry is a minimum of $20 donation to Unison Fund, with access to both rooms all night.

As a producer and on-air host at Canada's premier jazz station, JAZZ.FM91, Jaymz has enjoyed watching hundreds of singers and has chosen some of his favourite female vocalists; June Garber, Genevieve Marentette & Carolyn Credico, to sing in this beautiful church. Robert Scott accompanies on the piano.

There is not entry fee but they will pass the collection plate and there is wine served after the show.

Father Al is a music lover and this jazz vespers show encourages people of any faith to come enjoy the vibe.

The show kicks off with Tony Quarrington, Don Francks and Jaymz Bee doing their unique and highly entertaining brand of vintage jazz and folk. Clay Tyson will perform on guitar and vacuum cleaner (?) and The Dave Howard Singers will play a short "greatest hits" set.

The main act of the evening is a punk funk act called: The Two Headed Ian Dury Tribute Band featuring a slew of renowned local musicians including guitarists Eric St. Laurent and Longo Hai, keyboardists Robert Scott and Carter Brodkorb, sax players Richard Underhill and Alison Young, percussionists Great Bob Scott and Magdelys Sav, bassist Mike Pellarin and singers Jef Farquharson, Alex Parker and Jaymz Bee. To wrap up the evening an old skool burlesque show curated by Laura Desiree will ensure this is a night you will never forget. Laura is joined by Coco Framboise, Sassy Ray, Knox Harter and Esther de Ville.
