1.800.811.2400

Thanks to the generous support of our listeners, the fall fund drive is four days shorter than previous years. Jazz fans donated over $200,000 to this not-for-profit, registered charity earlier this month. Things are going well, but the station still needs your support. Call 1.800.811.2400 to make a donation between 7am and 10pm... or donate on their website!

There are various incentives based on your donation such as:

  • a Jazz Safari (a night on the town with Jaymz Bee for you and a friend -- checking out five Toronto jazz clubs in one night)
  • a Wine & Jazz Safari (hitting three wineries and an after party back in Liberty Village)
  • a Safari to Cuba in December

Quoted by Hair magazine as “The hottest designer in Canada” Robin Barker is certainly one of our countries best known hair stylists... but who knew he was a composer as well? The secret is out with the launch of “What Are The Children Worth?” a CD that will raise money for The Stephen Lewis Foundation (to support children affected by AIDS in East Africa). The CD includes a who’s who of Toronto jazz musicians and signers, who showcase songs composed by Robin.

The Revival Club evening will feature over 40 models with fashion by top designers and a concert that features singers such as Sophia Perlman, Julie Michels, Mike Ferfolia, Kenny Munshaw and Chloe Charles.

The evening emcees are none other than Jeanne Becker and Jaymz Bee.
