NEW NEWS (is there any other kind?)
CHARLIE WATTS
Legendary drummer for ‘The Rolling Stones’ discusses his lifelong passion for Jazz on Jazz.Fm91 this week.
Ralph Benmergui conducts a rare in-depth interview with Watts on ‘Benmergui in the Morning’ Thursday, July 28th at 9:00 a.m.
Charlie Watts has played drums for The Rolling Stones for nearly four decades, providing what Down Beat described as the “rhythmic heartbeat of the ‘World’s Greatest Rock ‘n’ Roll Band’”. But when he sits down to talk to JAZZ.FM91’s (www.jazz.fm) Ralph Benmergui in Toronto this Thursday, it will be to explore his passion for jazz, from his earliest years growing up in London inspired by luminaries Chico Hamilton, Max Roach, Buddy Rich, Roy Haynes, and Shelly Manne.
Ralph Benmergui’s interview with the legendary Charlie Watts can be heard on ‘Benmergui in the Morning’ Thursday, July 28th at 9:00 a.m. A separate conversation between Watts and Jaymz Bee will be featured on Jaymz Bee’s ‘Jazz in the City’ Saturday, July 30th at 11:00 a.m.
Cheers to The Rolling Stones logistics director Alan Dunn, a close friend of Bee and Bullhorn, for the assistance to make this happen.

39th ANNUAL CHIN INTERNATIONAL PICNIC
This past Canada Day week-end was The 39th Annual CHIN International Picnic. Hundreds of thousands attended this annual week-end event. BULLHORN'S very own Jaymz Bee was a guest judge for the Miss CHIN Bikini Contest and Carla Collins proved to be a great choice as emcee. Funny stuff! The Prez of CHIN TV/RADIO was very impressed with Bullhorn. He wrote:
"...You were great to work with and enjoyed and appreciated your help. You were right in there like you had been doing our event for years. Congratulations on a job well done!" - Lenny Lombardi
